Markus Löhr, CAIA

Founding Managing Director

Markus began his career in 2004 working at the life insurance providers, Swiss Life, in Munich, specifically within the asset management department. Throughout his time there he was able to build a strong ground understanding of traditional style investing.

Keen to diversify his skill set, he began working for the German family office, BTV, in 2011. After a period of working and gaining experience across various asset classes,     he began to focus on the area of Private Equity including Venture Capital and later also on Private Equity Real Estate, where he advanced to jointly managing these asset classes. In addition, he was head of sustainable investing at the firm.

His professional career has involved working with investors from the USA, UK, China, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Columbia and several other countries, allowing him to bring his experience from different investing styles around the globe to your business.

In summer 2018, his family brought him to Scotland and he decided to found his own business, supporting others with their alternative investment programmes.
